Why I've started Quiet Shift—and why it means so much to me.

Hi,

It's Someena (Wax Away)

If you've been coming to me for a while, you'll know I'm pretty much an open book. Many of you haven't just been my clients—you've watched me navigate some of the biggest challenges of my life. You've seen the smiles, but you've also seen the frustration, the exhaustion, the determination, and the woman who always found a way to keep going, even when life felt incredibly heavy.

I've always been someone who is determined. If I set my mind to something, I don't give up. But being strong doesn't mean life has been easy.

Over the years I've tried to juggle work, raising children, building businesses and simply keeping everything together. As a British Pakistani woman, there have also been cultural expectations and family pressures that have, at times, felt overwhelming. I've experienced relationship challenges, family pressures, moments of heartbreak, and times where I questioned myself more than I'd like to admit. There were days when I felt like I was carrying the weight of everyone else's expectations whilst quietly losing parts of myself.

For so long, I believed that being strong meant keeping everything together. Keep smiling. Keep working. Keep showing up. Keep putting everyone else first.

But eventually I realised something...

Even the strongest women need somewhere safe to put down the weight they've been carrying.

Around the time I completed my Access Bars Practitioner training, life presented me with some of my biggest personal challenges. Looking back now, I don't think that timing was a coincidence.

Access Bars didn't magically make my problems disappear, and I would never claim that it did. What it gave me was something I hadn't felt in a very long time... space.

Space to breathe.

Space to think clearly.

Space to stop carrying everything for just a little while.

For the first time in what felt like forever, my mind became quieter. My shoulders felt lighter. I wasn't constantly living in survival mode.

I'm still writing my story. Life still has its challenges, but today I face them with a quieter mind, a lighter heart and a much kinder relationship with myself. I don't pretend to have all the answers. But what I do know is this...

When we allow ourselves permission to receive, even for just one hour, something begins to shift.

That's why I've decided to launch Quiet Shift, my new Access Bars practice.

Not because I have a miracle cure.

Not because life suddenly became perfect.

But because I know what it feels like to need someone to simply hold a safe space while your mind and body finally get permission to rest.

So, what actually is an Access Bars session?

It's probably the question I've been asked the most..

Access Bars is a gentle, deeply relaxing treatment where you simply lie fully clothed on a comfortable treatment bed whilst I lightly touch 32 points on your head. Each point relates to different areas of life, including stress, creativity, money, control, relationships, communication, joy and many more.

There's nothing you need to do.

You don't have to talk if you don't want to.

You don't need to relive difficult memories or explain how you're feeling.

This is simply your time.

Many people drift into a deep state of relaxation. Some fall asleep. Others say it's the first time in years that the constant chatter in their mind has gone quiet.

Every session is different because every person is different.

Afterwards, people often describe feeling lighter, calmer and mentally clearer. Some notice they sleep more deeply, feel less overwhelmed, find it easier to make decisions, or simply move through life with a little more ease. Others leave feeling as though they've pressed a reset button on their mind.

Everyone's experience is unique, and I can't promise a particular outcome. What I can promise is a calm, supportive space where you can step away from life's demands and simply allow yourself to receive.

If you've been feeling exhausted...

If your mind never seems to switch off...

If you're constantly carrying everyone else...

If you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally drained or you've simply forgotten what it feels like to truly relax...

This is for you.

As women, we're so used to being everything for everyone else that we rarely stop to ask ourselves what we need.

Maybe this is your reminder.

As a thank you to all of my wonderful clients who have supported me throughout the years, I'd love to invite you to experience Quiet Shift before my official launch.

August Soft Launch Offer

Throughout August, I'm offering Access Bars sessions at a discounted rate as a thank you for being part of my journey. I'm also doing a model offer if you allow me to make some videos/photos for social media marketing.

Thank you for believing in me through every chapter of my life. Your encouragement, kindness and support has meant more than you'll probably ever realise.

I truly hope that, in this next chapter, I can give something back by creating a space where you feel seen, supported and able to simply let go—even if it's just for an hour.

With love,

Someena
